Discus throwing was a beloved sport for the Ancient Greeks, a fact that can also be seen in their art. According to Greek tradition, the one who invented the discus throw was Perseus, who, during his participation in epitaph games, threw the disc and unintentionally killed his grandfather Acrisios. Apollo also kills his friend Hyacinth in a discus contest. Generally, due to its nature, the disk from prehistoric times is associated with many fatal accidents. Officially, however, discus throwing is described in the Odyssey and Homer's Iliad. Handmade brass sculpture, quality guaranteed.Traditionally made using the metal casting method and museum-like oxidation.
